The Beautiful Watch opinion
Ever heard of the pre-Speedmaster? The legendary "moon watch" that brought Omega success in 1957 was actually preceded by this chrono reference! Equipped with a 321caliber chrono with column wheel, this reference launched in 1946. It was water resistant to 30 meters, a highly technical triumph then, on top of all the characteristics found in one watch. This piece produced in 1949 has come to acquire a mad patina, making it regal on the wrist and to simply regard. But the cherry on the cake is something else about this exceptional version: it was made for pilots of the FAI ( International Aeronautic Federation), created in 1905 in France, which allied several countries to combine their work in aeronautic exploration. HISTORIC!!!!
