The Beautiful Watch opinion
The Vulcain Cricket Nautical is one of the first diving watches equipped with an alarm function, and the very first to descend to 300 meters while remaining intact. Seen on the wrist of diver Hannes Keller when he set his world diving record in 1961 at a depth of more than 200 meters, the Cricket Nautical will long remain considered as the most successful diving watch, especially because of its alarm mechanism, much more strident than that of its competitors, therefore making possible to hear it underwater.
With less than 1000 pieces ever made and a recent re-edition, this watch has already a very nice cool factor and has nothing more to prove about belonging in watchmaking history.
