The Beautiful Watch opinion
The 1675 came out of the Rolex workshops from 1959 with the aim of replacing the old GMT model, the reference 6542. Among the many changes made to the watch, the most obvious remains the appearance of imposing crown guards on both sides. and other of it.
Only a few extremely rare examples in yellow gold were produced after this date without however including these famous crown guards: they will be nicknamed NCG for "No Crown Guards". This variation is one of the rarest ever produced, of which here is the presented watch.
This ref. 1675 "No Crown Guards" from 1963 is in excellent condition, as is its exceptional patina "Nipple" dial.
