Cricket Nautical

En 1961, Vulcain marqua l’histoire de l’horlogerie en dévoilant l’une des toutes premières montres de plongée dotées d’une complication alarme fonctionnelle sous l’eau : la Cricket Nautical. Véritable prouesse technique pour l’époque, cette alarme représentait un atout indispensable pour les plongeurs, leur permettant de régler un rappel sonore indiquant le moment où il fallait remonter à la surface.

Cette montre révolutionnaire se distingue par son boîtier à triple fond, garantissant une étanchéité optimale, et un cadran à deux niveaux affichant les tables de décompression, un outil précieux pour la sécurité des plongeurs. Mais la véritable innovation reste son alarme audible sous l’eau, une fonctionnalité inédite qui propulsa la Cricket Nautical au rang d’icône.

Légende confirmée, cette montre mythique a fait son grand retour en 2023, avec une réédition fidèle à son héritage, signée Vulcain.  Nous avons ici le modèle de 1960.

A true icon, this historic watch was reissued in 2023 by Vulcain, staying true to its heritage while celebrating its pioneering spirit. Ours is dating  from 1960.
